Brookes Australia Tours is a Darwin based company, operating in the Top End since 1989. They specialise in small group touring and unless otherwise booked their groups are generally no more than just 6 passengers; this ensures a more personalised experience for you.

The more discerning traveller may choose the private charter touring option and have an itinerary personally designed to meet your particular needs and interests to or from anywhere throughout the Top End. The  guides are locals, they know the Territory, the places to visit, how best to get you there - and back of course. Whatever your choice you can be assured you will enjoy your time with Brookes, in comfort and at an unhurried pace.

Whilst on tour, fully trained and knowledgeable guides will identify the flora and fauna of the area and explain its importance to local Aboriginal culture. You will view some of the best examples of rock art to be seen anywhere in the world. Depending on your chosen itinerary you will visit national parks and restricted areas of Aboriginal land.

Enjoy stunning waterfalls, gorges and monsoonal forests. Participate in cruises on rivers and billabongs. Visit art centres, cultural centres and swim in natural freshwater plunge pools. You are likely to see many species of birds and wildlife including the mighty salt water crocodile in its natural habitat and there may be the chance to catch one of the famous barramundi (a giant perch).

Accommodation is in the best available hotels, remote wilderness lodges or comfortable well equipped safari camps. All lunches are included whilst on tour and all meals are included at the Arnhem Land safari camp.

Transportation is in fully equipped luxury Toyota GXL 4WD Landcruisers, licensed to carry 7 passengers plus driver. Air-conditioned, forward facing seats, bull bars, winches, first aid kits, reference books, binoculars, luggage racks, satellite telephone equipped.

In Arnhem Land open air African style 4WD safari vehicles are used.

Air transfers are in single or twin engine light aircraft. We look forward to meeting you.
